Innovative Teaching Grants for Dallas ISD Educators: Advancing Students Through the Arts

Dallas, TX – The Dallas Education Foundation (DEF) is pleased to announce the opening of its HeART of Teaching Discretionary Grant Awards Cycle. Starting today until May 5, 2023, DEF will accept applications from Dallas ISD departments, campuses and teachers to fund innovative projects that advance learning or create equity through the arts. The application is open to all teachers and not limited to those who are arts educators.

The HeART of Teaching grants program creates opportunities for educators to integrate the arts into instruction and/or to create equity with new or in existing arts programs. DEF is investing thousands in the name of arts education, expecting to fund 25 grants of up to $4,500 each.
