Nearly 85% of our student population is designated as poor, and the gap between what our 140,000 students need and what state funds provide is significant. With rising costs and no increase in tax-supported revenue since 2019, the gap is growing.
As the designated philanthropic partner for Dallas ISD, the Dallas Education Foundation works alongside and in alignment with district leadership at the highest levels to identify both critical student needs and game-changing program investments.
