our impact
2022 ANNUAL REPORT
There is a long row to sow for large urban public school districts across the State. With a rise in costs, yet no increase in State funding, the gap between what school funding provides and our students’ needs gets wider each year.
Your contribution is an investment in our Dallas ISD family of students, teachers, counselors, support staff, and schools. It is because of you – our individual, corporate, and philanthropic partners – that we are able to help fill that gap.
We hope you are able to witness in our Annual Impact Report the results of our collective effort: Together, in 2022 we provided resources, enhanced programming, and addressed inequities for 43,481 students, 887 teachers, and 120 campuses
Thank you for your belief in the power of public education and your trust in the Dallas Education Foundation. We expect to have an even greater impact in 2023, and we look forward to our continued partnership.
With sincere gratitude,
Mita Havlick Executive Director
