The Dallas Education Foundation (DEF) is proud to celebrate three outstanding Dallas ISD students who have been awarded scholarships through the generous support of Alliance Geotechnical Group (AGG).
This year’s AGG Scholarship recipients include:
- Sanders Williams, Career Institute South, Wilmer-Hutchins High School
- Valeria Santos, Career Institute North, Hillcrest High School
- Jimmy Sanchez, Career Institute East, W.W. Samuell High School
Each student received a $2,500 scholarship to support their pursuit of careers in the construction industry — a field filled with high-demand, high-skill, and high-wage opportunities.
Through partnerships like this, DEF and AGG are helping Dallas ISD students take meaningful next steps toward successful futures in construction, engineering, and related technical careers. These scholarships not only provide financial support, but also reinforce the importance of investing in workforce pathways that strengthen both students and the broader community.
AGG has continued to demonstrate its commitment to Dallas ISD students by creating opportunities that connect education with real-world career experiences. From scholarships to internships and industry exposure, the partnership helps students gain the confidence and support needed to enter competitive and rewarding professions.
