2023 ANNUAL REPORT

For many of our Dallas ISD families, everyday life can be challenging. In addition to quality programming and instruction, the district provides transportation and on-campus libraries, connectivity, breakfast and lunch, and numerous support systems beyond a traditional school day. Yet, there exists a gap in resources that is deep and wide.

This gap is why the Dallas Education Foundation exists—to sustain a bridge between what public school funding provides and what our students need. We do this not for our own children, but for the 140,000 scholars who look to us to build their literacy and help them launch.

We believe in the embedded equity of a quality public education. And we believe our Dallas ISD scholars deserve to learn, grow, participate, have fun, and construct a life that creates greater opportunities for their families.

As you peruse our 2023 Impact Report, please know that we can only achieve our mission with your investment, support, and encouragement. If you are with us on this journey, we thank you. If you are yet to be a part of these stories, we invite you along because TOGETHER WE ACCELERATE STUDENT SUCCESS.

With sincere gratitude,

Mita Havlick, Executive Director
