The Annual Campaign Gala was held November 1st

THE HEART OF TEACHING

ADVANCING LEARNING THROUGH THE ARTS

Honorary Chair Regina Montoya and the Dallas Education Foundation, in partnership with Dallas ISD, are filled with gratitude for your support of THE HEART OF TEACHING 2nd annual Gala. Together we exceeded our fundraising goal for the evening and kicked off our annual campaign.

For the second year, the Dallas Education Foundation is shining a spotlight on the Heart of any child’s education, the Teacher. All net proceeds from the Dallas Education Foundation’s annual campaign will fund innovative teaching grants that equitably integrate fine arts and instruction.

Studies show that especially in underserved populations, visual and performance arts-enhanced teaching and experiences are powerful learning tools to help students who may be struggling with traditional methodologies.

We are eternally grateful for the educators, Dallas ISD staff, sponsors, and community partners that made our gala a success, but the work is not done and please consider supporting the Dallas Education Foundation so that together we will accelerate student success.
